the following article is an excerpt from the now-defunct website www.uprm.net and is a peek into the wackiness that once went on there. this particular article, known as the tigron affair, not only raised eyebrows, but also resulted in the upper rooms first piece of hatemail ever, WITHIN 15 MINUTES. good times.

The mythical Tigron, of legend in Preston, Idaho, was sucessfully bred in a zoo in Thailand and a single cub was shipped to Farmersville to be displayed here at the Upper Room for a limited time.

Zanna, this juvenile Tigron is a quintessential specimen, showing all the characteristic markings and behavior of the breed. She is a tender 13 weeks old and must be bottle fed to ensure her growth and development, having been prematurely seperated from her mother. Weighing in at a fragile 15 Lbs, she will continue to grow until she reaches her full 500 Lbs.

If attendence at the Upper Room does not improve, Zana will be shot and her body put on display in the public square.
