"we can rent a cottage in the isle of wight if it's not too dear..."-Paul McCartney
today is not only father's day, it's also the day that paul mccartney celebrates his much awaited 64 birthday.
at the age of 14 mccartneys mother died of breast cancer, the same disease that eventually killed his wife linda, and in tongue in cheek tribute for his father, he wrote an early draft of "when i'm sixtyfour," which he recorded with the beatles nearly ten years later. and for forty years he's asked "will you still need me, will you still feed me..." and the answer is no.
linda, his long-time wife, died in 1997, his most recent wife is divorcing him with a few million dollars and thier daughter, and yoko still gets half the royalties everytime "when i'm sixtyfour" is played on the air.
forget animal rights, a more charitable organization would be "people for the ethical treatment of Paul McCartney," but it's hard to rally support for a man who's officially a BILLIONAIRE and has never worked a day in his life.arguably.
john's dead, george is dead, ringo never was talented, and paul is on his way out. sad day. but the average british man only lived to 76 when paul was young and now it's 87, so there something to be said for inflation.
so after a hard days night, paul may die more like eleanor rigsby than sargeant pepper.
have a nice day.
