"insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting it to come out differently."- Albert Einstien
i've reached a point in my life where i'm starting to feel older, my brain is still telling me i'm fourteen, but every one around me tells me i'm closer to thirty. WHICH IS STILL 5 YEARS AWAY!! these feelings are brought on by the types of things that strike fear into my heart. such as cops not feeling obligated to give me a ticket (pulled over three times this month, 5 warnings, and i didn't even have to show cleavage). women at my mothers church saying, "greg, you look so nice, it's like you grew up over night." but the worst is kids i took to R.A. camp who are graduating from high school. THANKS ALOT KYLE FOR NOT FAILING 9TH GRADE LIKE WE THOUGHT YOU WOULD!!
the feeling of old age sneaking up on me, no matter how slowly, it's a terrifying one comparable only to bleeding to death from the pores. but i come from a long line of verility, once my maternal grandfather was brought home at 1 am by the cops at the age of 75, and we still don't know why. dad's father is an 82 year old double amputee and can still kick my ass! i come from a long line of chemists, geneticists, and texas rangers, mensa members, Phd's, and Oil tycoons.
then i get all wound up about being 80 and sitting on the square in Leonard telling lies about my grandchildren and catcalling the highscool girls! i can't wait.
then i realize it'll be 2060 and i get bummed.
bring it!
have a nice day.
